Favorite Hang Outs
  • San Antonio Zoo (3903 North St. Mary's Street)
    Open 365 days a year...even on Christmas. Once it gets warm, I take my girls at least once a week.
  • Witte Museum (3801 Broadway)
    My daughters can play in the Treehouse and learn at the science exhibit. They even have story time. It's also free on Tuesday afternoons!

Favorite Places To Eat
  • Blue Cactus Café (13525 Wetmore)
    Okay...the kid thing is really important, so.....It's a great place for a burger and a beer.....plus there's an indoor and outdoor play area!
  • La Hacienda de los Barrios (18747 Redland Rd)
    Again....playground outside and really good food and margaritas. I let the girls drive home.
  • Rain Forest Café (110 E Crockett St)
    Never ignore the Riverwalk. Lots of fun when the apes start yelling at the elephant on the third floor while you're eating dinner.
  • Acenar on the Riverwalk (146 E Houston St)
    I love this place! Dark and hidden with a balcony overlooking the river and the downtown skyline. Great date place.

Favorite Movies
  • Garden State: Zach Braff and Natalie Portman. Such a great love story.
  • Crash: Everybody's in this movie! It's such an eye opener!
  • Meet Joe Black: Brad Pitt is the grim reaper. I cried this entire movie. It's about a girl and her relationship with her dad.....oh yeah, and Brad Pitt is in it. Very touching.

Favorite TV Shows
  • Grey's Anatomy: Embarrassed to say I own Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD.
  • Nip/Tuck: What can I say? Christian! He's bad and I love him.
